I read a lot of economics and business news but I can never escape the draw of a good Biology book or article. I’m currently studying for a Masters degree. I’m a news junkie, which can either be seen as a good thing or rather as a drawback in that I am, for some reason, compelled to find out what’s currently happening across the world, have a center-left leaning political philosophy, but find my beliefs constantly challenged by what I read.
I have a mixed cultural heritage, having been born in Asia, lived in Seattle, and then moved to Birmingham, UK, from the age of about ten. I enjoy travelling though I don’t do it enough; I think seeing more and learning more about the world makes you as an individual stronger. You can discover who you truly are (or who you want to be by being forced to develop and sustain your own personality through a cultural frame of reference which might not be shared by those around you.
