My friend’s just back from the Student radio awards that were in London at the weekend (where Cambridge won best student radio station woot wooooot) so she’s been on a real high which has made me quite jealous! Radio is such a creative thing to do without being removed from reality as artsy things can sometimes be. I’m thinking of applying for a BBC internship in June in their factual radio dept. focusing on History and Science. I think it would either be really interesting and fun, or really interesting and not my thing at all, but I’ll probably go for it just to see. Patrick, it sounds like you’re getting some great material!! I’m really looking forward to the show in January (that IS when it’s airing right?) it sounds wonderful. My friend’s just back from the Student radio awards that were in London at the weekend (where Cambridge won best student radio station woot wooooot) so she’s been on a real high which has made me quite jealous!
