I wouldn't want to wish anything like this on anyone, but it does seem rather ironic. It's not like they're farming seals or anything: just going out and killing live ones seems one of the most brutal things one could do, so I don't have nearly as much sympathy for these guys as someone else caught in the same situation, like a normal fisherman. It's the way it's done. ...and of course you know my views on whaling, so a MD reference is rather appropriate!
